Remote Warrior: Building the First Trauma-Informed System for Remote Combat Veterans
My name is Tanner Yackley. I’m a former MQ-9 Sensor Operator and Evaluator, and the founder of Remote Warrior LLC, a veteran-led initiative addressing the invisible trauma of Remote Combat Warriors (RCWs). This includes drone crews, ISR analysts, and intelligence professionals who often return home with no blood on their boots but deep trauma in their nervous systems.Our work is shaped by those who have lived it. Nearly every member of our small but growing team is an affected veteran. We are building the first trauma-informed system made specifically for our community and for the systems that failed us.

There are over 250,000 Remote Combat Warriors in the United States.That is more than the entire Special Operations community.More than fighter pilots. And we are still being overlooked.
